La migration des modules de l'ancien site vers le nouveau continue!

Après avoir bataillé avec ma base de données SQL, j'ai réussi à copier l'ancienne dans ma nouvelle et donc à littéralement duppliquer l'ancien forum. Vous pourrez donc conserver vos identifiants, mots de passes, PMs et messages, comme si rien ne s'était passé... ;)
J'en ai profité pour mettre un nouveau thème en attendant d'en faire un spécial 44th Wind Sword!

Concernant le Wiki, j'ai fait un backup de la base de données, mais je ne l'ai pas copié, en effet, le système d'archivage par fichiers texte aurait posé problème à la longue. Je lui ai donc préféré un moteur qui a fait ses preuves, MediaWiki, celui que vous connaissez peut-être déjà tous car c'est celui de Wikipédia, l'encyclopédie libre!

Je suis en train de le remplir, ça va prendre du temps, mais ça sera fait. A ce propos, n'étant pas encore familier avec sa structure, je me pose beaucoup de questions concernant la gestion multilingue du wiki. Si vous avez des idées pour permettre une indexation  facile et pratique de fiches en français et en anglais, je suis preneur! ^^'

The transfer of the modules of the old site to the new one goes on!

After having battled with my SQL database, I managed to copy the tables of the old forum to my new one. So you'll be able to log in with your usual coordinates, and to view your PMs and posts as if nothing happened... ;)
I also installed a new theme before the one I'm actually designing, full-44th Wind Sword-colored is ready!

Concerning the Wiki, I chose not to copy the old one since its text files structure would have generated many issues by times. So I chose an engine which already made his proofs, MediaWiki, the one you may already know since it's the one used by Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia!

I'm actually filling it. It will take some time though, but it will be done. By the way, I'm actually looking for solutions to manage the articles written in different languages in order to index them in a smooth and efficient way, so english-speakers shall not pe penalized. If you know something useful for that, I'll be grateful toyou to notice me! ^^'

A la suite de l'annonce de la fermeture de mon ancien hébergeur, Lylat Wing, j'ai pris la décision d'en trouver un nouveau et vous voici dessus!
www.44thwindsword.com est désormais en ligne.

Tout ceci est un peu soudain, d'où la nécessité d'un certain temps d'adaptation.
Les premiers modules en cours de migration sont le Forum et le Wiki.
Le Site, au lieu de subir un recodage sera adapté à cette plateforme Joomla, ce qui passe par la création d'un Lay-Out pour ce dernier. Je compte vous pondre un petit bijou! ;)

Hi all,

After the announce of the shutdown of my previous web-host, Lylat Wing, I decided to keep on and I bought the one you're actually on!
www.44thwindsword.com is now online.

This fact happened quite fast so I'll need some time to adapt myself to my new environment.
The first modules which shall be moved are the Forum and the Wiki.
The Site, instead of being recoded will be adapted to this Joomla framework, so I'll design a nice Lay-Out for it! ;)
